Can Patrick help? (Pictures: BBC)
There is no one better qualified to give out some kind advise than Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker), who has witnessed his fair share of romances throughout his time on EastEnders.
With everything they have going on, Denise Fox (Diane Parish) and Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) find it difficult to give their relationship the attention it deserves.
When Jack’s primary concern was his daughter Amy (Ellie Dadd), who has been battling with her mental health and struggling with self-harm, things were already rough.
However, ever since it was revealed that 12-year-old Lily Slater’s (Lillia Turner) baby’s father is Ricky Jnr (Frankie Day), things have only gotten worse.
It’s understandable that they haven’t had much time for romance with everything going on. But Patrick doesn’t want to watch their bond deteriorate.
Patrick pulls Jack aside after noticing their developing separation and offers him some dating counsel.
Jack has the idea to ask Denise out on a date during the day while the kids are in school.
However, things take a turn for the worst when he discovers Ricky leaving early.
Audiences will be aware that Denise and Ravi (Aaron Thiara) had recently become close, with Denise becoming envious of his flirting with Chelsea (Zaraah Abrahams).
Will Jack arrive on time for his date, or will Denise use this as the impetus to look for passion elsewhere?
