Zack learned that he had also contracted HIV after getting tested.
Zack, who is still humiliated of his own diagnosis, instead confides in Sharon about Whitney’s diagnosis of omphalocele and what it might imply for their unborn child.
In an effort to help her brother, Sharon offers some guidance based on her own parenting experiences. She exhorts him to stand with Whitney and the infant.
