It seemed like Caleb Milligan (William Ash) revealed what he’s been up to and why he’s been behaving strangely last night in Emmerdale.
Caleb revealed his strategy to Cain (Jeff Hordley) while they were both intoxicated, saying that he intended to destroy the Tate business and “leave them with nothing.”
But in tonight’s ITV soap opera episode, we learned yet again that Caleb hasn’t been completely truthful with his sibling.
As the day began, the brothers were on the same page and agreed to meet in the pub after work.
When the appropriate moment occurred, Cain asked Caleb why he had come to the village, saying that he wanted to spend time with family, but now wanted to take over Home Farm.
Caleb explained to his brother that Will (Dean Andrews) is “one of those guys you just want to slap,” and not Home Farm, is on his mind. He also wants to destroy Kim’s (Claire King) stud farm.
The newcomer advised Cain that, in order to succeed and make a lot of money, their strategy didn’t always have to entail throwing punches. Instead, they needed to think strategically.
Caleb told Cain that he was doing everything for the Dingles, but as soon as he departed, he placed another call that gave the impression that he wasn’t.
He said, “I just spoke to Cain, and he’s none the wiser.”
“Full speed ahead,” was said.
What’s happening, then?
Is Caleb trying to topple the Tate dynasty or is there something else he wants?
Who was he speaking to on the phone?
