The following week on EastEnders, Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) battles temptation as she rekindles her love with an ex-boyfriend.
Of course, we’re referring to Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters), who unexpectedly returned to the Square just before the holidays and helped Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) convince DI Keeble (Alison Newman) to drop his case.
Sharon, who gave Keanu permission to get close to their son Albie, has struggled with her feelings for the young mechanic, but she ultimately chooses to try out love the following week.
Following a discussion about their emotions, the two have an especially passionate reunion in the bathroom of the Vic. They later return to the bar, flustered, with Denise Fox (Diane Parish) making sarcastic remarks, which leads to other listeners figuring out what they’ve been up to!
Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), who tells Sharon and Keanu that Nish and Suki Panesar (Navin Chowdhry and Balvinder Sopal) have made a counter-offer for Mick’s (Danny Dyer) half of the Vic, interrupts them before they can figure out what this means.

In the meantime, Sam Mitchell (Kim Medcalf), who makes a voice note hinting at having a relationship with Keanu while they were in Spain, leaves Sharon feeling heartbroken once more.
Keanu is devastated to have wasted his opportunity with his former landlady and is heartbroken when she excommunicates him. But really has he?
In later scenes, Sharon confronts the mechanic with some brutal truths, but after speaking with Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace), she calls him and confesses her continued affection for him.
After hearing Sharon’s voicemail, Keanu decides to visit No. 43. There, they resolve their disagreements and decide to go on a date that night.
Is this the start of something extraordinary?
Or, given that we’re talking about Walford, will everything result in tragedy and heartbreak?
