When Sam Mitchell (Kim Medcalf) gives Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) a voicemail that contains a hint about a sizable secret, Sharon is left feeling completely shaken in the upcoming episode of EastEnders.

With her emotions about Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) next week conflicted, the former landlady of the Vic, who recently made an offer to purchase half of the bar, tells him how she really feels.

There is ultimately heartbreak on the horizon as Sharon gets a voice note from Sam. Things take a turn for the worse as the ex-lovers become passionate in the Vic’s restroom.

In the voice note in issue, Sam makes a suggestion about her and Keanu’s relationship while they are in Spain. Sharon is devastated and confronts Keanu and kicks him out of her life in a series of touching scenes.

Our souls are torn apart.

As fans are aware, Keanu was revealed to have had a fleeting affair with Sam when their paths crossed in Spain. Phil (Steve McFadden) was furious when he learned the truth over the holiday season.

Despite his dislike for Keanu, Phil eventually made the choice to drop his grudge against the mechanic and let him get to know his son Albi.

But has his passion for Sam—and his earlier choice to keep it a secret from Sharon—sabotaged any chance he had of reconciling with his true love?

Maybe not.

In later scenes, Sharon confronts the mechanic with some brutal truths, but after speaking with Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace), she calls him and confesses her continued love for him.

Is happiness finally in the cards? If so, what will Sam think of the situation in general?
