In upcoming Emmerdale episodes, Rishi Sharma (Bhasker Patel) begins to have the unsettling sensation that he is not alone when something in his home doesn’t feel quite right.
Since Priya (Fiona Wade) and Amba (Ava Jayasinghe) left the village for a new life in London, Holdgate has obviously been a little quiet. At first, Rishi attempts to dismiss his concerns, reasoning that they must be the product of his overactive imagination in the empty house. He proceeds to sleep with his unease still present, and the next morning he discovers proof that he wasn’t dreaming at all.
His snacks have been devoured by someone. And it most certainly isn’t rodents.
Rishi, who is shaken, alerts his son Jai (Chris Bisson) to an interloper in his home. Since Priya and Amba’s departure, Jai is aware of his father’s struggles and attributes Rishi’s concerns to his father’s loneliness and desire for additional support.
We are aware that Rishi has previously expressed loneliness, which made him a target for Sandra Flaherty (Joanne Mitchell), who had an affair with him and then threatened him.
He has been deeply affected by the loss of his daughter and granddaughter, who relocated to London after Priya received an intriguing job offer.
But is Rishi really the only one responsible? If it’s not, then who is the thief of nighttime snacks and why are they concealing in his home? Could he actually be in danger?
