A tragic week is in store for Coronation Street, with Daisy Midgeley’s (Charlotte Jordan) wedding day slated to go wrong.
Daisy wakes up with a bloodshot eye and believes that her marriage to Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) is cursed.
Ryan Connor (Ryan Preston), meantime, is compelled to step in as chauffeur, while Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews) and Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Pregner) assist Daisy to appear a million dollars.
But, Daisy and Ryan are shocked to see Justin (Andrew Still) lurking in the bar and becoming aggressive towards Daisy while hurling acid at her.
On another part of the street, Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) is suspicious after seeing a text message on Aaron Sandford’s (James Craven) phone that suggests to Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) that they put things behind them.
Summer is adamant about learning the truth and demands to know what is happening. Amy confronts Aaron after he claims that they shared a bed the night they broke up, and she is heartbroken by his claim. Amy sobs and convinces her that she is mistaken before telling Tracy (Kate Ford) that Aaron raped her. Steve and Tracy persuade Amy to report Aaron to the police, which she finally does.
Amy tells to Summer that Aaron raped her.
But Summer is startled and declares that Amy is lying. But, Amy claims she never gave her permission for sex to occur with Aaron and the police are seriously investigating her claim.

Finally, Todd Boyce’s character Stephen Reid (who misled the manufacturing workforce by saying he had a meeting to finalise the American sale this afternoon) is back to his old ways.
Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell), who has read Stephen’s journal, questions why there is no mention of the encounter with the Americans.
Is Michael’s time up?
These scenes will be shown during Coronation Street on ITV1 and ITVX on Monday, March 27.
