Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) will be involved in a violent altercation on EastEnders as he tries to win over his abusive father Phil (Steve McFadden).
When one of the demo fighters becomes sick, the big launch of Boxing Den, which Phil and Kat (Jessie Wallace) have invested in, is put in peril.
Ben volunteers to fill in for his father because he doesn’t want to let him down and because he wants to impress the Mitchell patriarch.
Yet as soon as the battle starts, it’s obvious that things won’t go exactly as Ben had hoped.
He seemed to have greatly overestimated his opponent’s skill, as he ends up losing rather heavily.
Will he sustain a significant injury in the ring after getting himself into this situation?
Ben is now dealing with a lot due to the diagnosis of an inoperable brain tumour in Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold), the mother of Lexi (Isabella Brown).
In the days leading up to her passing, he has been committed to giving her the best quality of life possible.
This has included Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick), who is her partner, giving her money despite having financial difficulties.
He will argue with Lola in forthcoming episodes over Lexi’s comprehension of her situation, which will make things more difficult.
He insisted that Lola put their daughter first, which made her realise that Lexi thought her mother would get well.
Will they be able to tell her the truth without upsetting her, or will they convince her otherwise?
