Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce), who has been keeping a number of murderous secrets hidden, is under investigation by Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell) on Coronation Street.

In the episode, which airs on Friday, March 31, Michael is adamant about getting his former American clientele back, and his strategy is working.

He subsequently learns with confusion that Stephen cancelled the agreement and goes to confront him.

It’s definitely not a good idea to prod the murderous beast, but how will Stephen respond when Michael presses him for the truth?

The truth be told, Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) is in shock after accusing Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) of having an affair with Aaron (James Craven).

Summer immediately accuses Amy of lying when Amy informs her friend that Aaron sexually assaulted her.

Summer is supportive of Amy, however, as she confides more in her and adds that the police are treating her complaint seriously.

Actress Harriet explained the moments by saying, “As soon as Amy says it, your immediate inclination is to not want to believe it, to not want to think someone you love is capable of doing that.”

She immediately says, “You’re lying, he wouldn’t do that,” but I don’t think Summer buys it since she is aware of her best friend and is aware that she would never lie about anything.

She wants to stand up for him, but I feel that she is aware of the truth. As Amy replies, “Look, believe me or don’t believe me—your it’s option,” Summer immediately turns and apologises. She wants it to be a falsehood more so since the reality is so terrible.

While Amy has Summer on her side, she still needs to talk to DS Swain.

After reading Amy’s communications, the investigator confronts her with some unpleasant inquiries.

Amy worries that her case will soon be dismissed since she feels she is being held responsible.

On the Street, Beth Tinker (Lisa George) is getting ready to reunite with her ex-boyfriend Marco when Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Prenger) warns her against it.

But, Beth can’t help herself and utterly disregards this. Is she planning to cheat on Kirk Sutherland (Andy Whyment) when she meets Marco at a hotel?

And lastly, Brian Packham (Peter Gunn) is trying to find his Italian family, but it won’t be simple.
