
Ruby O’Donnell, a star of Hollyoaks, has received encouragement from her followers and coworkers after announcing the terrible news of her grandmother’s passing.
The actress, who portrays Peri Lomax in the Channel 4 soap opera, shared many images of her grandma while sharing the tragic news on social media.
Together with the pictures, she posted a caption on Instagram that said, “Today was all about honouring the amazing life you made.”
I’ll always miss you, Grandmother xx.
Ruby’s Hollyoaks co-stars were quick to show their support, with Maxine Minniver’s Nikki Sanderson writing: “Sending loads of love to you all.” I’m very sorry for your loss.
The actor who plays Scott Drinkwell, Ross Adams, wrote: “Thinking of you gorgeous,” while Gabriel Clark, who played Ollie Morgan, wrote: “Sending you and your family tonnes of love.”
Malique Thompson-Dwyer, who portrays Prince McQueen, added two love emojis to her response, while Ashling O’Shea, who plays Nadira Valli, added three.
Supportive notes from fans were also added quickly. One wrote: “Sending thoughts and prayers to you and all your family.”
Next week on Hollyoaks, Ruby will make an appearance when Peri chooses to go with Juliet Nightingale (Niamh Blackshaw) while she undergoes cancer treatment.
After a talk about their intentions with Peri, Juliet and Peri decide to go quietly without saying goodbye to anybody.
