In Hollyoaks, Beau Ramsey (Jon-Paul Bell) and Maxine Minniver (Nikki Sanderson) seemed to have fallen in love when she stepped in to assist him take care of his little niece Eva.
As viewers are aware, the high school teacher has been eager to support Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard), who has been finding it difficult to cope with the ramifications of what Eric Foster (Angus Castle-Doughty) subjected his family to.
On the first peek episode of the Channel 4 soap opera on Thursday, March 30, the chef got a fresh lease on life when Tony confronted Eric and told him to stop interfering in his life.
Tony wanted Eva to become acclimated to sleeping in her own bed, so he demanded that she avoid falling asleep for the most of the day, assigning Beau the responsibility of keeping his niece awake.
As everything was going on, Maxine ran into Beau outside the gym. As they got to know one another a little more, they both saw a spark between them.
Maxine helped Beau care for Eva, filling in as nanny while he went to school to teach, and Tony later ensnared her in his scheme.
Afterward, Beau expressed his gratitude to her, but is this the beginning of something meaningful between the two of them?
Beau in the serial drama, played by Jon-Paul Bell, acknowledged that he “had his eye” on Maxine and that they would be spending more time together soon.
According to Beau, “Maxine’s resilience throughout everything with Eric definitely attracted his interest.”
“He obviously has his eye on her, so there may possibly be something between them.”
To find out whether they end up dating, we’ll simply have to keep an eye on them.
