In the EastEnders episode that airs on Tuesday, April 4, a life is in danger when Denzel Danes (Jaden Ladega), who was riding in Kim Fox’s (Tameka Empson) vehicle when it collided with the Argee Bhajee.
Kim was taking Denzel for a drive to celebrate being named “Influencer of the Moment,” but she became sidetracked when a message from Denise (Diane Parish), whose phone Kim had in the vehicle, appeared from Ravi (Aaron Thiara), making it abundantly clear that Denise had been up to something with Ravi. Kim, startled, was forced to swerve, and the automobile made slight contact with the restaurant wall.
Kim is briefly rendered unconscious during the collision and awakens to see that Denzel has even more severe injuries. Mitch (Roger Griffiths) has already summoned the emergency services, and soon Albert Square is filled with the sound of sirens. Kim is soon pulled from the debris, but Denzel is still inside the vehicle, and things don’t seem good.
Kim tells Denise that viewing Ravi’s texts was what led to the collision as they arrive at the hospital where Kim has been taken to be examined. Denise is aware that she will need to tell Kim what has been happening with Ravi, but Denzel is her top concern for now. Kim and Denise help Amy (Ellie Dadd) and Jack (Scott Maslen) console Denzel’s upset father Howie as the prognosis for him is still unknown (Delroy Atkinson).
Ravi, another parent who is struggling, is enraged because Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) brought Jordan to Denzel’s celebration. He tries to correct him, but Nugget responds by criticising his parenting and using his words against him. As things spiral out of hand, Ravi becomes aggressive, as Aaron Thiara described:

He finds it hard to believe his kid would act in this manner. He also finds it hard to understand that Ravi’s relationships with Chelsea (Zaraah Abrahams) have been destroyed since she believed him when he stated that Nugget was a fine child and could take care of Jordan. He loses control of all the factors at that very time, and as a result of his disagreement with his son, he also loses control of himself.
Because of his father’s angry response, Nugget is afraid and runs to Suki (Balvinder Sopal) and Nish (Navin Chowdhry) to inform them of Ravi’s behaviour. Will grandpa Nish interfere with Ravi’s parental decisions?
As Freddie (Bobby Brazier) tries to handle two dates on the same night and fails badly, Jean (Gillian Wright) questions his intellect, which causes a great deal of upheaval for Freddie and results in what Bobby Brazier called his first sobbing scene:
It took us a while to get over our sorrow and sadness after filming with Freddie’s Nanny Jean on the couch, I was with him at the time, he said. It’s intriguing since my work has mostly consisted of humour, but soon we’ll see some feeling from Freddie.
