In tonight’s (Wednesday, April 12) episode of EastEnders, Sam Mitchell (Kim Medcalf) must make a choice about her future, while Eve Unqin (Heather Peace) is seeking information from Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) about her plan to overthrow Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry).

Sam just received a call about a business opportunity, and at first she urged them not to contact her again.

She would be separated from her son Ricky, who already has a lot on his plate as the father of Lily Slater’s (Lillian Turner) pregnant child, since it would take her overseas.

After years of failures, she has been attempting to step up as a mother. However, it is not working well for her, and when she tries to push through yet another time, Ricky rejects her.

Sam is frustrated by Phil’s unsurprised response to the prospect that she could be going away, who she is also trying to win over again again. Phil is played by Steve McFadden.

She goes to see Jack and explains her ex-fiancé Don has offered to make her the manager of a flash new hotel in Spain.

He goes mad that she’ll abandon Ricky again, but when Sam confides in Honey (Emma Barton) later, she explains she can make money for the baby.

Honey thinks Sam should go for it as it could be life-changing for Ricky to have that level of financial support.

As Sam reaches a decision this evening, where will her head and her heart take her?

Meanwhile, Eve is on edge as she is keen to get going with getting Nish brought to justice.

Eve seeks to deliver Suki (Balvinder Sopal) from the grasp of her domineering husband now that she has confessed her love for her.

Jack has been informed by Eve that she is ready to act as his informant. Eve increases the pressure and is eager to obtain a response since Jack is being slow to respond.

Will he give the mission the go-ahead?

Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) is stunned by a hefty electrical bill and realises she won’t be able to pay it.

It’s a setback and the beginning of a creative approach to her financial issues.

Wednesday, April 12 at 7:30 p.m., BBC One will broadcast EastEnders.
