Emmerdale spoilers: Tensions rise as Nicky and Caleb clash over their plan

When Nicky attempted to take charge, Caleb became irritated (ITV Pictures).

On Wednesday, April 12, Emmerdale’s Caleb Milligan (William Ash) urged Nicky (Lewis Cope) to remain in his lane.

As a result of the revelation that Frank Tate is Caleb’s father, the father and son are presently collaborating to bring down Kim (Claire King) and Home Farm.

Nicky is still employed as a nanny at Home Farm but just there to interview Kim, Will (Dean Andrews), and Gabby (Rosie Bentham) as Caleb becomes more and more interested in the money via the stud farm project.

Nicky is eavesdropping on conversations using Thomas’ baby monitor as one method of achieving this.

He heard Will express doubts about Caleb to Kim tonight, saying that he isn’t quite convinced about him.

Caleb was busy sleeping with Leyla (Roxy Shahidi), but Nicky had contacted his father and ordered him to get to Home Farm.

Given that almost no one in the community knows Nicky, meeting her in the middle of the street was undoubtedly dangerous for Caleb.

Caleb was advised by Nicky that they should take action against Will, but he wasn’t really interested and told his son that he was taking today off and would return to it tomorrow.

Nicky was sick of being the “lackey” in the team, but in the end, he was forced to take his position.

Nicky became irritated when Caleb instructed him to concentrate on his part of the plan; might this be a portent of things to come?
