In EastEnders, Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) chooses to turn informant on villainous Nish (Navin Chowdhry) because she is willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for her girlfriend Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal).
Suki, Eve’s girlfriend, and they are absolutely over over heals in love, but there is a fairly significant husband-sized roadblock in their way of a happily ever after.
Although though Eve is aware of the dangers of their connection since Nish had done a 20-year jail sentence for killing someone he believed Suki was dating, this hasn’t prevented her from feeling genuine affection.
Recently, Eve came to understand how serious their relationship was, and she made a significant choice to remove Nish from the picture.
Things took a turn for the worst at a business meeting when Suki and Vinny (Shiv Jalota) undercut Nish in order to close a deal with a shady customer.
Nish was enraged that they had offended him and started berating Suki before turning his rage on Eve as she tried to protect her.
Nevertheless, Eve wasn’t going to take it lying down and was all set to prove his claims that she couldn’t find somebody “mad enough to love her” wrong by outing herself as his wife’s lover.
Fortunately, Suki intervened and stopped the situation before Eve was forced to leave and the truth was disclosed.
Eve later ran up Suki at the Minute Store with the intention of confirming the validity of what they had.
Suki eventually replied “I love you,” giving Eve hope for their future as she profusely apologised for everything she had been putting Eve through.
Nish, on the other hand, was the one issue that remained.
Eve approached local detective Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) as they entered the Queen Vic and made a proposition for him to become an informant.
Eve claimed that she would go farther and send him Nish Panesar’s head on a platter, which led Jack to believe that she was referring to Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara), whom Jack had been attempting to bring down for weeks.
Will Jack accept the offer and assist Eve in permanently getting rid of Nish, or will something go wrong with terrible results?
