Alexandra Mardell, a star of Coronation Street, wed Joe Parker two years after they initially became engaged.
The ceremony took place on March 19 at The Tithe Barn at Bolton Abbey in Skipton, North Yorkshire, where the actress—who played Emma Brooker in the ITV soap—married Joe.
Sair Khan, who portrays Alya Nazir in Corrie, Charlotte Jordan, who plays Daisy Midgeley, and Maddy Smedley, who plays The Traitor, were among the Alexandra’s coworkers that attended.
When announcing the news with OK! Magazine, Alexandra said, “It was gorgeous – the scenery was stunning.”
Considering that it had been snowing a few days before, the weather was excellent. Because that weekend had been a heatwave for the previous two years, we had set the wedding date two years earlier.
“And then it started snowing the week of our wedding! Oh my God, what are we going to do? was my first thinking. Fortunately, it wasn’t wet.

In April 2021, Joe and Alexandra made the news of their engagement public on social media, according to the cobbles actress.
Along with many images of her and her fiancé Joe, she commented on Instagram, “Love locked down!!”

Yes a million times over. My face aches from how pleased you make me! I adore you crazily. Soon-to-be Mrs. Parker
Following her news, Alexandra’s co-stars congratulated her right away. Lucy Fallon, who played Bethany Platt, tweeted: “OMG!!!!!!! I’m ecstatic for you both! Congratulations!!!
