As Lola Pearce’s (Danielle Harold) storyline progresses, it has been announced that EastEnders icon Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) will soon make a comeback to our screens.
Since February, no one has seen the adored figure. He left for a job that Phil (Steve McFadden) had urged him to accept, but he would return the following week.
Billy was hesitant to leave Albert Square because of Lola’s illness, but he accepted the job offer when it became apparent that he was having financial difficulties.
Following the narrative with DI Keeble (Alison Newman), who sought to get Billy imprisoned for the killing of her father, Phil made the choice to assist Billy.
Billy and two other people—a kidnapped Kat (Jessie Wallace) and Tommy (Sonny Kendall)—were saved by Phil, who also offered Billy the job to help Billy deal with his guilt.
Lola, who is terminally sick, learned that she only has a few months left to live while Billy was abroad. When Billy returns the week of April 24, she will have to confront her father with this news.
According to the BBC description, “A shocking revelation sparks debate in The Vic, Billy must accept heartbreaking news upon his return to Walford, and Jay and Lola surprise Ben with a shocking request.”
How would Billy respond to Lola’s announcement given that there will be more intense situations to come?
