Emmerdale executive Jane Hudson has announced that another stunt will take place in, you guessed it, October. As a result, the UK’s most perilous community is about to be rocked by yet another catastrophe.
It is customary for ITV to highlight its soap operas to usher in the fall, and it has even been kind of an expectation that the so-called “super soap week” will have some type of lethal extravaganza.
There is excellent news for you if that is your cup of tea!
Emmerdale is preparing another spectacular event, which Jane promises would be “brilliant,” to follow such horrors as a burning labyrinth, a motorway pile-up, and a stampede of cows during a storm.
With the last touches being added by Jane and her coworkers, the fall narrative is presently in development.
The producer also described how she develops the episodes in a unique manner, often getting ideas for particulars in the middle of the night.
I was working on it with my producer late last night when we should have been going to bed – not together, in our different places – and we began getting a little excited with ideas and texting each other! With a grin.
Then, around three in the morning, I sprang out of bed after experiencing a dream that someone was attempting to break my neck.
I thought, “I’ve got to write down some ideas,” and I kept a notebook and a pen next to my bed. Nobody’s neck is breaking, yet at three in the morning I was penning because I was simply in that realm of going tales.
We are still in the very early phases of Super Soap Week, but historically it includes a stunt. Right now, we’re in my “dream head” stage. However, it will be fantastic because it always is.
Prior to “super soak week,” Jane had made it clear that Kim Tate (Claire King) will learn the truth about Caleb Milligan’s (Will Ash) scheme against her.
Is this a sign that the focus of the episodes will be on this particular story?
If so, it will undoubtedly be explosive as the intricate story intensifies.
