Following the shocking discovery that Nicky Milligan (Lewis Cope) is in love with an old “friend,” Ally, there is even more secrecy in tonight’s episode of Emmerdale (Tuesday, April 25).
Ally and I first met when he came in the community to learn more about Nicky’s activities.
He was shocked to learn that he was engaged to Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham), and Nicky flinched through drinks at Home Farm in the late afternoon as Ally angrily ruffled his feathers.
Now that I consider the couple’s on-and-off relationship and extensive history, everything makes sense.
Nicky is involved in a scheme with her father Caleb (William Ash) to take Home Farm away from Kim Tate (Claire King).
Nicky will be close to Gabby and will act as if he is in love with her as part of this scheme.
After his passionate night with Ally, Nicky tonight cautions him that it mustn’t happen again.
Nicky wants him to avoid the village, but it seems like it will be harder said than done to keep him away.
After his altercation with Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley), tense Caleb is curious about what is happening with Nicky.
Caleb wants to know Nicky’s whereabouts last night out of concern that their strategy may be jeopardised by the unpredictable conduct, but will he get the truth?
Other negative news includes Cathy Hope (Gabrielle Dowling) not receiving an access agreement for her investigations without an official diagnosis.
Her schoolteacher advises that she postpone by a year as a consequence, but a devastated Cathy begs her to reconsider.
Finally, Faye informs Mary Goskirk (Louise Jameson) that the women’s shelter she supports has been damaged by fire.
Mary suggests a fundraiser since she is adamant about helping the cause, but not everything is as it appears…
On Tuesday, April 25, at 7:30 p.m. on ITV, Emmerdale will resume.
