Albie Watts (Duncan Boyd) gets christened in the current EastEnders episode.
The day before the occasion, Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) reminds Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) that the delivery task comes with a sizable financial reward.
On the morning of Albie’s baptism, Ravi reminds Keanu that the drug delivery job offers a sizable salary.
Keanu is confused of what to do until Zack Hudson’s (James Farrar) and Martin Folwer’s (James Bye) expensive gift for his kid makes him feel out of sorts.
He offers an explanation for leaving and promises to meet them at the church.
Keanu is then given the job’s specifics by Ravi, who also informs him that he will be carrying narcotics within white goods.
Keanu parked outside and enters the church after being late for the baptism due to delays.
The van’s alarm goes off during the ceremony, and Keanu runs outside with Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) to see what’s going on.
Sharon is in disbelief as Keanu is detained for intent to provide by the cops who were waiting outside.
In another part of Albert Square, Lola Pearce’s (Danielle Harold) partner Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) is in for a big day.
When one of the morticians abruptly backs out, Lola, who is already exhausted, cancels the entire event.
Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) observes that Jay is working too much and doesn’t have time to create memories with Lola, who has been diagnosed with a fatal brain cancer, despite the fact that a fatigued Lola feels relieved.
Billy gets adamant about relieving Jay of the burden.
In other scenes, Tameka Epson’s character Kim Fox counsels her sister Denise (Diane Parish) to intervene on Jack Branning’s behalf and win him back.
She shows up at his home as he and the kids are leaving and extends an invitation to join them in the escape room.
After a fun night out, the kids recommend that Denise and her son Raymond Dawkins (Michael Jose Pomares Calixte) return to their house.
While Janine Carter (Charlie Brooks) is being sentenced today, Aflie Moon (Shane Richie) observes Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) looking down.
Alfie attempts to cheer Janine up by mentioning a celebration for the coronation of the King, but she isn’t interested.
He mentions Linda’s struggles to Jean Slater (Gillian Wright), who informs him that Linda is now serving a life sentence on her own without her spouse Mick Carter (Danny Dyer).
