Rebecca Ryan, a former cast member of Coronation Street, has welcomed a baby girl into her family and announced the news.

The star, who initially disclosed she was expecting in December of last year, gave fans their first glimpse of her daughter on Tuesday, May 2.

The 32-year-old posted a picture of the infant, who was draped in a little striped babygro and had her eyes closed, sleeping on a fuzzy blanket.

She captioned the photo, “Welcome to the world my beautiful baby girl Aurora,” adding that the child has the same name as Sleeping Beauty.

Rebecca made her marriage to Dan Acraman public in September 2022.

In the statement published on social media, the soap actress, who portrayed Lydia Chambers in the ITV serial, referred to their wedding as “the best day of our lives.”

She made her pregnancy announcement in a very glam way, sporting a sparkling, silvery outfit and debuting her baby belly in front of a Christmas tree.

After marrying the guy of her dreams, she commented at the time, “I thought this year couldn’t get any better, but it turns out it can… Can’t wait to become a mother in 2023 x.”

Following her debut in 2021, Rebecca made her final appearance as Lydia on Corrie in March of last year.

I’ve had the nicest time ever, really. It’s intimidating to learn you have a job on Coronation Street. She told Metro.co.uk about her leaving, “It’s a legendary concert, it’s not just any show, particularly when you come from Manchester.

“Normally, when I do things and act, I don’t get overly anxious, but in my first week, I was really anxious.” This is significant since it’s Coronation Street.
