Later, Paul confronts Damon in the bistro office and threatens to have him arrested for his illicit actions unless he pays £25k. However, as a result of the encounter, Paul receives more than he bargained for.

Damon resists and subsequently betrays Paul by phoning his criminal connections and pleading with them to put an end to Paul’s extortion effort. In what kind of danger is Paul?

Nick and Adam are incensed when Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) reveals that Sarah was one of those who voiced concerns about the late licence, but Damon relishes her anguish. How will Sarah change this?

After her deceit is exposed, Sarah is put on the spot (ITV picture).

While Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) offers to rebook their tickets to Vegas and reminds Elaine that he’ll need her passport, Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox) will try to contact Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls) in other scenes. Will Elaine accept?

Finally, George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) and Brian Packham (Peter Gunn) are encouraged to submit their model ships in a contest.

What will he decide when Eric Sandford (Craig Cheetham) calls at the garage and offers to move back in with him after presenting his son Aaron Sandford (James Craven) the keys to his new flat?
