Another dramatic week of Coronation Street is planned, with huge departures, lives on the queue and a significant betrayal in jeopardy.
When Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) calls “Crystal,” Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan), who is intending to step back from helping him, assumes the voice of her alter ego to gently let him down.
However, the plan goes awry when Ryan decides to fly to Ibiza to see Crystal, forcing Daisy to intervene when she confronts him about it. Ryan is perplexed and questions how she was aware that he was considering taking a flight, but Daisy successfully hides her identity by suggesting that they go for a walk.
Ryan appreciates everything Daisy does for him, but as they look at one another, it’s obvious that their connection goes beyond simple friendship.
Meanwhile, Max Turner (Paddy Bever), whom Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) is keen to assist, receives a recorded message from Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) informing him that if he has any concerns, he may record them on Daisy’s extra phone.
Max watches Daniel’s video, but his friend Gav asks him where he obtained the phone while he watches. Daniel gave Max the gadget, according to Max, so he could keep a journal.
Meanwhile, Ryan starts to feel queasy and rushes to the toilet to get sick. He contacts “Crystal” in a desperate attempt to get assistance and leaves a message before passing out. Max listens anxiously as Gav plays Ryan’s voicemail because he knows Ryan is in danger.
What about Ryan?
While on the street, Tina O’Brien’s character, Sarah Barlow, calls the bistro to ask for Damon Hay (Ciaran Griffiths), who responds by kissing her. This leads to further events in the office.

While waiting for a meeting over the late licence, Adam (Sam Robertson) and Dee-Dee (Channique Sterling-Brown) discover that the cafe is locked. They inform Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) and Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson), who are left wondering where Damon has gone, of their finding.
In the meanwhile, Sarah and Damon quake in terror. Is their dirty little secret about to come out?
These scenes will be shown during Coronation Street on ITV1 and ITVX on Monday, May 8.
