In forthcoming episodes of Emmerdale, Lewis Cope’s poor Nicky Milligan will continue to struggle to portray the smitten fiancé of Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham).
Despite Nicky detesting every minute of the charade, his father Caleb (William Ash) is pressuring him to keep going because the whole thing is part of a larger scheme to deprive Kim Tate (Claire King) of all of her material possessions, including Home Farm, her businesses, her money, and everything else.
Caleb, the son of the late Frank Tate (Norman Bowler) and Faith Dingle (Sally Dexter), believes that Kim is to blame for his father’s death; however, how and why he feels this way is presently a mystery.
Returning to his evil scheme, Caleb believes that Nicky should have no trouble pleasing Gabby. However, he is unaware of Nicky’s sexual orientation.

Recent footage of him and Ally (Josh Horrocks) revealed that their relationship wasn’t nearly as amicable as it seemed. The two spent the night together before Nicky sheepishly went back to Home Farm the next day.
Nicky sets a date with Gabby because he wants to be married as soon as possible, much to Gabby’s joy.
She wants to party upstairs, but Nicky is embarrassed by his performance.
He feels a little better after seeing Ally, but he is terrified later when he overhears Ally and Gabby chatting and making arrangements to go out.
Gabby advises that Nicky and Ally go out together instead when those arrangements fall through.
Has Gabby just unintentionally moved Nicky into her opponent’s arms?
