The Coronation Street events from tonight could have an impact on Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) and Damon Hay (Ciaran Griffiths).
As Damon struggles with his motor-neurone disease diagnosis and starts to worry about money, Paul’s attempt to blackmail him into giving him £25,000 fails.
Paul leaves to look at wedding gowns with Bernie (Jane Hazlegrove) and sister Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) after Damon promises to pay him to stay quiet about Niall.
He is discovered taking pictures of Gemma’s fantasy dress in the hopes that the factory workers may make a less expensive replica.
Sadly, he is apprehended.
Paul quickly learns that the thug doesn’t have the money and that Niall is not pleased when he later goes to see Damon.
Blood had run out for the pair. However, Damon changes his mind and tells Paul to leave right away.
Will he be able to flee quickly enough?
And might this eventually mean bad news for Damon?
Meanwhile, Gail (Helen Worth) reveals that she has no problem with Nick (Ben Price) and Leanne (Jane Danson)’s plan to obtain a late licence for the Bistro, leaving them perplexed.
Tina O’Brien’s character, Sarah, stated that her mother Gail had warned the noise would keep her up all night.
So they have a discussion about the concept with the locals at the Cobbles at 2 PM.
However, they are soon confronted with inquiries about late-night noise pollution and scramble to contact Damon, who is unavailable.
Despite the possibility, David (Jack P. Shepherd) cautions Max (Paddy Bever) not to get his hopes up for an early release from prison.
Carla (Alison King) tells Peter (Chris Gascoyne) that they must not leave Ryan (Ryan Prescott) and forces him to cancel their reservation for a mini-vacation.
Ryan feels bad when he finds the cancellation paperwork since he is still healing from the acid assault.
And when Stephen (Todd Boyce) notices Owen (Ben Hull) flirting with Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews), he becomes agitated.
Tonight at 8 p.m. on ITV1, Coronation Street resumes.
