In Emmerdale, Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) wasn’t willing to give Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) the benefit of the doubt when he tried to see his ill kid in the hospital.
After Liam (Jonny McPherson) felt it would be best to have Reuben checked out, Reuben ended up in A&E.
Reuben is now in extremely bad shape as a result of the discovery that the infant was displaying symptoms of bacterial meningitis.
Reuben’s condition quickly became known around the community, and Mack soon learned that his son was in critical condition.

He tried to see Reuben in the hospital yesterday night (May 4), but Mackenzie prevented him from doing so by telling a nurse that he is a family friend and not Reuben’s father.
Naturally, during all of this, Mack continued to lie to Charity (Emma Atkins).
Chloe highlighted out how poorly he had behaved during her pregnancy, which made him more desperate to see Reuben.
Mackenzie was devastated when Chloe remarked that even if Reuben doesn’t survive, he still won’t be the baby’s father, despite his best efforts to convince her that he is the only one who comprehends what she is going through.
Mackenzie will eventually be permitted to assist Reuben alongside Chloe in forthcoming episodes, but these sequences will ultimately lead to the moment Charity discovers her husband’s important secret.
