If there is anything that viewers of EastEnders have learned from this week’s trips to the Square, it is that we are all only living in Sharon Watts’ (Letitia Dean) reality.
The Walford legend has had quite the week, taking on a lot of scary and menacing individuals without a moment’s hesitation. She is clearly enjoying one of her best runs on the BBC One soap in years.
We can do nothing but stan.
Sharon made the decision to face the hardened criminal after he put partner Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) in the hospital as a result of his actions with Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara), who then continued to make several terrifying threats.
However, did that stop her? Did Sharon stay out of it as the cunning Ravi ordered? She obviously didn’t! Instead of staying hidden, Sharon dialled the police and gleefully watched as Ravi was taken away by authorities while dressing in delightfully camp and iconic fashion.
Give her each and every honour right now.
As if that weren’t infamous enough, the previous landlady of the Queen Vic then confronted a recently freed Ravi at the bar, refusing to back down from a fight as she made her sentiments known and urged both Nish (Navin Chowdhry) and him to leave right away.

Nish, who enjoys intimidating women and loves to portray himself as the big bad wolf, predicted that he would approach Sharon and advise her to remain in her designated lane in an effort to scare her.
You have no clue who you’re messing with, Nish, dear. As the queen she is, Sharon grabbed Nish by the face and expertly dispelled his threats while demonstrating her ability to engage in dirty play.
what makes anything iconic.
Like us, many other EastEnders fans were in awe of queen Sharon, and many of them took to social media to gush over the legendary soap opera character.
We can all relate to one enthusiastic social media user who shouted, “SHARON god i adore her,” while another added, “Sharon strangling Nish IM HERE FOR THIS!!!! STAY AWAY FROM SHARON WATTS!
One fan wrote: “Absolutely obsessed with Sharon’s iconic smirk making a return for this camp doof doof” in reference to Sharon’s expression when Ravi was taken into custody.
Another person on Thursday, May 4 remarked, “More Badass Sharon Watts tonight.” Please say “yes.”
Please do, in fact. We are ecstatic that Sharon Watts’ renaissance period has started.
On Monday, May 8 at 7:30 p.m. on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, EastEnders will resume.
