Future EastEnders scenes will include Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) learning a disturbing truth about her lover Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman), which will cause her life to “crash down.”
Sonia overhears Reiss and Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley) having a furious argument as she is enjoying her birthday celebration.
Unaware that Sonia is listening in, Rocky, who has previously overheard Reiss making a dubious phone conversation, wants to know the truth.
Sonia is completely taken aback by the news, according to actress Natalie Cassidy.
She thinks “oh my god” since it all occurs so rapidly and he simply tells it like it is. She probably simply takes a tonne of bricks to the face when it happens.
“I think she’s completely heartbroken when the news breaks and Reiss reveals his secret, and it’s quite a difficult time for her,” the author writes.
Natalie adds that Sonia made the choice to have Reiss leave her life in a single second after feeling misled and mistreated.
Because it’s her birthday and they were scheduled to perform on stage in front of everyone in the Square, “everything quickly comes crashing down” as she orders him out of her life.
Reiss is eager to defend himself after spending the night in his vehicle, but Sonia is certain about her choice.

Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold), who has received several pieces of advise from various family members and acquaintances, is the one who eventually manages to put everything into perspective.
‘Sonia leaves and talks with Lola while taking some time to consider all that has happened with Reiss.
I believe Lola is the one who, given her tragic circumstances, tells Sonia she shouldn’t care about what other people think and urges her to follow her heart.
Lola, I believe, has a significant influence on Sonia’s choice since she offers perspective on life.
Will Sonia reconsider Reiss after Lola’s words have time to sink in?
