When Tom King (James Chase) finds out about not one, but two historic murders in Emmerdale the following week, he is left in shock!
As fans are aware, the vet showed up in the titular hamlet early this year and quickly reconnected with his ex-girlfriend Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper).
Tom was hesitant to get back together with his uncle Jimmy (Nick Miles), who had lost contact with him for a while, out of concern that it would be unpleasant. However, Belle was eager to do so.
But when he ran into Jimmy up at The Hide, the circumstances was out of his control, and their following reunion turned out to be just as unpleasant as Tom had anticipated!
While Jimmy hoped to direct his connection with his nephew into less difficult waters, he couldn’t help but bring up Tom’s father, Carl, which hurt the young veteran since he didn’t want to bring up his evil father.
Next week, Jimmy attempts to reconnect with his nephew one more time but ends up stepping on it by accidentally revealing the identity of the person who killed grandpa Tom King and establishing Carl’s guilt.
Although Tom is having a hard time accepting the news, Belle is eager to comfort him and explains her part in Gemma’s death, which will cause Tom even more distress.
Tom is seen in the clip above looking for consolation in the Woolpack in Wednesday’s (May 24) episode of the ITV soap opera, but Jimmy and Belle are eager to talk with him in an effort to make things right.
Tom, on the other hand, is quite clear that he doesn’t care what Jimmy has to say, pleading with his uncle to acknowledge that everyone is better off with murderer and rapist Carl dead.
Such a remark upsets Jimmy, who grabs Tom while Belle tries to step in and diffuse the situation. But will there be conflict? And will Tom and Jimmy ever agree to disagree?
These scenes will be shown in Emmerdale on May 24 at 7:30 p.m. on ITV1 and ITVX.
