In Coronation Street, Justin Rutherford (Andrew Still) appears in court as the acid-attack trial involving his stalking of Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) and assault on Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) gets underway.

Daisy was being stalked by Justin on social media, who also messaged her and sent her flowers to her home and the local bar.

The behaviours gradually began to change, and the situation became increasingly alarming.

Just so he could see Daisy more, Justin found himself a job as a delivery driver with a route through Weatherfield. He then came to the conclusion that they were destined to be together forever and even went so far as to arrange their wedding and honeymoon.

Justin returned for vengeance and tried to assault Daisy with acid after Daisy got Justin jailed.

Ryan, however, was the one with long-lasting bodily and psychological wounds since he leaped in front of them when the incident occurred.

Coming up, Daniel (Rob Mallard) visits Ryan and implores him to change his mind about going to court, pointing him that if Justin gets away with it, Daisy would be continually in terror.

Carla (Alison King) spots Daisy as she’s about to make a break for it as Daniel describes to the court how Justin pursued her nonstop in the days leading up to the assault.

Karen, Justin’s sister, pays a visit to Daisy (ITV).

Daisy is instructed by Carla to stand up and show Justin that she is not under his control.

As the week comes to a conclusion, Ryan steps into the witness box and tells the court how Justin threw acid with Daisy in mind, but he absorbed the full force of the impact, suffering unbearable agony.

How will the judge respond when Justin gives his version of events in the witness box?

What will the outcome be?
