Emmerdale’s Amelia (Daisy Campbell) is headed straight towards the light at the end of the tunnel after a particularly anxious few months that included Samson’s (Sam Hall) antics and a significant health scare.
She is a tenacious little soul who persevered in her studies despite the difficulties of having a new baby, and she is hell-bent on giving her daughter the finest future she is capable of.
On the other side, her father Dan (Liam Fox), who often seems to be unlucky, is once again in need of money thanks in large part to Cain’s (Jeff Hordley) failing company.
The mechanic is struggling financially since Will (Dean Andrews) won’t give him any work until the bumbling Dingle apologises, but that won’t happen anytime soon because hell is still a few degrees above freezing.
As a result, Amelia must once again step up since Dan is struggling to put food on the table. Despite having little prior experience, she has already tried her hand at completing Mandy’s (Lisa Riley) books for a few extra dollars. An chance that might change her life is about to present itself.

To Laurel (Charlotte Belamy) and Jai (Chris Bisson), Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) confesses that she really regrets having assisted Gabby (Rosie Bentham) in enhancing The Hide’s internet presence. Why did she think that? Amelia steps forward to take Victoria’s position in a cunning and eavesdropping manner.
Although she and Gabby have a rocky history due to Amelia’s carelessness with Thomas, might this be not just her big break but also a means of regaining Gabby’s favour?
