It’s well knowledge on Coronation Street that Roy Cropper (David Neilson) sleepwalks when he’s anxious.
After the passing of his mother in 2019, Carla (Alison King) saw Roy sleepwalking.
Roy wandered out again the next night while asleep and wound himself aboard Peter’s (Chris Gascoyne’s) yacht.
He accidentally knocked over a paraffin light, which caused the boat to catch fire.
However, to everyone’s horror, Simon (Alex Bain) was trapped inside.

Roy’s current health issues, which began a few weeks ago when he left a salsa lesson due to chest symptoms, are the root of his worry.
The ITV soap opera will air tomorrow (May 26), and Roy will get more respiratory difficulties while walking Freddie the dog, prompting Evelyn (Maureen Lipman) to summon an ambulance.
The next week, when Freddie is having surgery, Nina (Mollie Gallagher) tells Evelyn that Roy has been having sleepwalking episodes once again due to anxiety about his own procedure.
Can they do anything to lessen Roy’s tension, though?
Or will you have to wait till the procedure is finished?
