In wrenching EastEnders scenes, Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold), Jay Brown’s (Jamie Borthwick) lifelong love, will sadly pass away from a brain tumour.
After learning that her cancer was inoperable, Lola has been undergoing therapy to extend her life in the plot, which started last November.
After a few months, it was discovered that the medication had ceased to be effective, giving Lola just six months to live.
Tragically, it was later discovered that her palliative treatment had been ineffective, causing the cancer to grow and reducing her life expectancy to only a few weeks.
The news stunned her family in total disbelief, and they have had to adjust to the notion of living without Lola.
Show creator Chris Clenshaw said, “They all pull together and are there for each other in the near future, but that won’t last forever.”
Chris hinted that Jay would be getting close to someone in the future in particular.
He made light of Jay’s potential acquaintance with another important figure by saying, “Jay will find it.”
Chris said that Lola’s death will affect the whole family.

I don’t believe any of them will ever be the same.
It will undoubtedly have disastrous effects on the family, Billy (Perry Fenwick), Jay, Lexi (Isabella Brown), and Honey (Emma Barton) said.
Lola has reached the point when she is aware of what lies ahead, therefore she has made a number of specific demands of the family. She has made preparations for the near future and requested Jay to see to it that he constantly speaks to Lexi about her. However, it may not endure forever.
It will be a challenging process, and Lola’s absence from the rest of her family will undoubtedly be distressing.
We are left wondering how the family would respond to Jay moving on after Lola’s passing and who this special someone may be.
