The conflict between Jimmy (Nick Miles) and Tom King (James Chase) in Emmerdale appears to be over after Jimmy was able to save Angel (Rebecca Bakes) from the recent car accident that involved Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) and Moira (Natalie J Robb).
Angel was stuck inside the wrecked vehicles with a broken leg after Moira and Nicola’s collision.
Thankfully, Tom the vet was there to help as they waited for an ambulance so that Angel could be transferred to A&E.
Before this, Tom and Jimmy frequently quarrelled over the secrets from their pasts and the fact that Tom was unaware that his father, Carl, had murdered Jimmy.
Tom even joins Jimmy and his family for lunch in this new video, demonstrating how much the relationship between the uncle and nephew has improved.
However, Nicola isn’t exactly engaging in social activities since she’s too preoccupied sending notes on her phone about Moira because she’s still determined to get revenge following the disaster.
Tom assists Jimmy with cleaning up and ends up dropping a massive bombshell: he wants to reside in the village permanently. As Nicola retires to the sofa to continue tapping away on her tablet, Tom helps Jimmy.
He explains to Jimmy that he believes the timing is perfect to settle down in the Dales now that he has his family back and his relationship with Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) is developing.
Tom should certainly be updated on all the drama that has been going on in the village since he has been gone.
However, just talking about the last year can be enough to put him off.
