Xander wakes up from his anaesthesia, although he is still not fully healed. When he thinks back to the terrible news of Jamie, his ambulance buddy, passing away, he is devastated. Xander’s recuperation appears to be a difficult one because he is plagued by frightening nightmares.
Although Rose and Mali make an effort to put their problems aside for Xander, their tension is evident. Xander reassures Rose that by finding the ambush attackers, she did the right thing since Jamie’s family deserves to see justice served. Mali is unhappy despite being confident that he made the proper choice. Irene believes they should discuss their issues. Sadly, Rose and Mali can’t agree, so talking merely escalates to fighting.
The band, Theo’s apprenticeship, and his clients at the garage are just a few of the individuals that depend on Justin as he makes preparations in case he is imprisoned. Theo believes Justin is acting prematurely, but Justin is acknowledging the possibility that his days of freedom are numbered. Theo decides on the spot to leave his apprenticeship so he may concentrate on the band. Justin feels better since he has one less thing to worry about.
Alf worries that Justin isn’t coping well with the pressure of his next court appearance elsewhere. Justin looks to be past winning his legal battle and already down. Could Justin’s mindset be working against him?
