Future Coronation Street episodes will give Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman) a surprise once she realises how much Roy Cropper (David Neilson) values her.
Roy will shortly have surgery after feeling dyspnea and chest problems.
His stress levels have increased as a result, and he has made the decision to send messages to his loved ones that can only be read if he passes away.
Evelyn chooses to open the envelope after gazing at it and seeing how much Roy values her.
When Evelyn (Shelley King) arrives at the hospital to express her own emotions, she is surprised to see Yasmeen already beside Roy’s bedside.
Evelyn returns to Roy the next week, only to see Yasmeen there once more.
It becomes clear that Yasmeen was successful in locating Hayley’s red coat and that their relationship has now been revived.
Evelyn, who is having a hard time controlling her emotions, seems as though it would be a big burden if Roy asked her to watch care Freddie the dog while he recovers from his operation.
