In forthcoming Coronation Street episodes, Aggie Bailey (Lorna Laidlaw) is hoping to win over her old neighbours, but it looks like Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) may have other ideas.
To Aggie’s chagrin, she and her husband Ed (Trevor Michael Georges) will run into their obnoxious old neighbours Yvette and Patrick next week.
As shown in a brand-new spoiler video, Aggie borrows Sally (Sally Dynevor) and Tim’s home to host when Yvette recommends they get together again.
Things start to go awry when Aggie makes dinner nearly instantly.
When Ed shows over with a bottle of wine, Aggie immediately recognises that he is wearing the incorrect clothes.
He wonders why it matters so much when she mentions that she had set one out just for him.
When Tim enters the house with only Sally’s nightgown and slippers, everything only gets worse.
While Sally is perplexed, Aggie and Ed are appalled.
Tim kindly explains that he just came up from a sleep and that his own dressing robe is in the washer.
Aggie pushed Tim to go since her guests would soon be arriving and she wanted to make a good impression, while Sally fretted about Tim’s verruca being inside her slippers.
Aggie (Paula Wilcox), who appeared to have lost all motivation when Elaine (Paula Wilcox) came, requested that everyone go.
The Metcalfes were trying to decide where they would go when it became apparent that they had been waiting a little too long because Yvette and Patrick had arrived.
