Following the revelation of Sarah Platt’s romance with Damon Hay (Ciaran Griffiths) on Coronation Street, Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) is keen to mend his relationship with Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien), but as a new spoiler video reveals, he can’t help but stick the knife in.
Sarah told Adam that he was overthinking things after he had bought her breakfast and apologised for a remark that might have been misunderstood.
Adam was preoccupied when Damon crossed the street, which gave him an idea as she bemoaned the status of their relationship.
In front of the man Sarah had cheated on him with, he promptly leaned in and gave him a long kiss, clearly delineating his zone.
It was evidently successful because Damon, who had just lately revealed to Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) that he had emotions for Sarah, appeared to be very offended by their behaviour.
At first, Sarah appeared to be appreciative of Adam’s efforts, but she soon caught Damon eyeing them and began to doubt her husband’s intentions.
Sarah felt reassured by Adam’s admission that, while the kiss was genuine, it was also partially intended to humiliate Damon.
She declared her love for Adam and pleaded with him not to exploit their connection to snub Damon.
Even though it appears like Adam is moving on, it will soon become apparent that he is actually bothered by Damon’s presence on the street.
He will eventually, out of desperation, resort to one of Damon’s shady business partners and pull some strings, possibly putting Damon in great risk.
