When Ryan on Coronation Street discovered that the person he had been messaging was a catfish and not his true love interest Crystal, he was horrified.
A new spoiler video reveals that when he realises who was really behind the false character, things are likely to get considerably worse.
Currently, Ryan thinks acid attack victim Justin’s (Andrew Still) sister Karen is responsible for the texts. Ryan discusses this with Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) in the new footage as the two catch up.
Their tranquilly is quickly disturbed, though, by the appearance of Max Turner (Paddy Bever), who has just recently returned to the Street after serving time in an STC for his role in stabbing Alya.
He should stay away from her, Alya cautions before quickly excuse herself and leaving.
Ryan informed a heartbroken Max that she had every right to be furious, but Max responded that he wasn’t entirely awful, especially in light of how he had previously assisted Ryan.
Ryan, who was perplexed, was told how Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard), who had been in the STC with him, had borrowed him Daisy’s phone and how he had sent the voicemail Ryan had left before passing out.
The identity of the true perpetrator of the catfishing slowly began to dawn on Ryan as he explained that the message he had left for Crystal had reached Daisy’s phone.
Ryan Prescott, an actor, said he would feel “humiliated” if he found out Daisy was actually Crystal.
Ryan said, “The thing is, Ryan has had such an intimate back and forth with ‘Crystal’ over the past month or so that he is genuinely starting to believe that in a different world, in a different time, or somewhere down the line that there might be something there with her because they have established an actual relationship.”
There has been a lot of chemistry between them naturally, and Ryan enjoys supporting their union.
He would feel ashamed because he has been really open and “himself” with this individual to learn that it has been Daisy the entire time. It’s such a large falsehood to tell that he would feel so misled.play for so long that he would begin to believe that he was a game and a toy.
He would explode with hatred towards Daisy since he believes he has lost both Crystal and Daisy all at once.
Ryan will confront Daisy about her behaviour after the events of this spoiler video, and Charlotte Jordan predicted that Daisy will be “devastated” by the encounter.
Daisy is distraught since she doesn’t know what to say. She knows she did everything wrong and can only attempt to defend her actions by pointing out the good intentions behind them. She is fully aware that what she did was wrong, and she is also aware that lying about it was wrong, but these were her choices, and she must now accept the consequences.
