Following the tragic car accident that left Denzel Danes (Jaden Ladega) fighting for his life in EastEnders, Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) has been having a hard time coping.
After the event in which she crashed her car into the Argee Bhajee, viewers witnessed Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) show concern for her as she started to suffer from severe panic attacks.
As Kim’s genuine emotions are revealed in the following scene, sister Denise (Diane Parish) will express similar worries.
Denise, who is already under stress from attempting to balance family obligations with the demands of her tense relationship with Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), runs into Kim at the salon as she gets ready to take Pearl out to lunch.
As soon as she sees texts from Ravi (Aaron Thiara), who was on the sidelines of the disaster, on Denise’s phone, she recognises that Kim is going through a lot of trauma as a result of the incident.
Denise feels upset and guilty after Kim later confides in her about her difficulties.
Delroy Atkinson’s character Howie Danes begs her to not take the guilt for her actions, but it is obvious that Kim finds that impossible.
When Denise arrives home after hours and encounters Jack’s wrath, things only get worse for her.
She shouts at him out of anger and won’t accept blame for her flaws.
Will Denise be able to support her sister, or will Jack’s demands be too much for her?
Will Kim’s mental health deteriorate further while her sentence is still up in the air?
