Kim Fox (Tameka Empson), who was involved in an accident in which she struck the Argee Bhajee in EastEnders several months ago, will soon receive her sentence.

Kim is really anxious about the incident and the possibility of going to jail for the crime.

Denzel Danes (Jaden Ladega) suffered very serious injuries in the collision, and even though he eventually made a good recovery, actress Tameka Empson has said that Kim is still troubled by “the what ifs.”

Denzel, fortunately, is unharmed, but she struggles with the knowledge that she smashed the car and put him in that situation.

She worked herself up by playing it over and over, and right now everything is being scrutinised. She therefore assumes it is about her whenever there is a bang, a shout, or a loud noise.

Kim’s anxiousness about appearing in court is over the sky as the day of her sentencing approaches because she thinks she will be given a lesser sentence.

She is inconsolable. Even though she truly doesn’t want to go, she knows it’s the correct thing to do. There’s a sensation of “this could be it” and she might lose it deep inside.

There are indications all throughout that she is falling apart.

In anticipation of the trial, Kim is worried (Image: BBC/Jack Barnes/Kieron McCarron).

“She knows Howie Danes (Delroy Atkinson) and Denise Fox (Diana Parish) love her and want the best for her, but I think she has a little voice in her head that is saying “you could go down for this”,” says the author.

Tameka continued by saying that Kim is ‘thinking the worst’ before to her sentencing and that she is worried about what would happen to her children as well as the uncertainty of life in prison.

She worries that she won’t be able to handle things and that she would break down so severely that she won’t be able to mend herself.

She worries about her young children’s ability to manage because she has young children. If she’s in jail, how long will she be gone? She hasn’t been honest with anyone about it, which is why I believe she has inflated it so much in her mind.

The only people who come to mind when you think of prison are Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) or Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks), but now she might be the one. Kim, however, hasn’t experienced that kind of life like Phil and Janine have, so she is anticipating the worst as she enters a situation over which she will have no control.

Will Kim receive a light sentence when she appears before the judge, or will she be imprisoned?
