In the most recent episode of EastEnders, Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) admitted that she might still be feeling something for Martin Fowler (James Bye), but she was discouraged when he didn’t reciprocate her flirting.
But given how closely Stacey and Martin are getting along, it appears a reunion could be in the works.
Stacey forgets that she left a drunken voicemail for Martin requesting him to be her plus one as she gets ready to go to Kathy Beale’s (Gillian Taylforth) wedding with Theo Hawthorne (William Ellis) as her plus one.
Things become tense when he suddenly shows up at the house and recommends she leave Theo behind and go with him.
Stacey and Martin had a beautiful moment together at the registry office, but later Theo tries to make Martin feel bad by kissing Stacey’s hand.
Stacey, who is torn by her emotions, decides whether or not she wants Martin to be a part of her future by following Jean’s (Gillian Wright) advice to put her own happiness first.
Eve Unwin (Heather Peace), after another family gathering in which Martin is in awe of Stacey’s activities, tries to persuade Stacey that she and Martin should actually give their relationship a chance.

Stacey eventually decides to inform Martin that she is still working on cams for a covert client even though she is unsure if she can take the chance.
Martin conveys his anxiety that Stacey might be in danger and is naturally concerned about who Stacey’s anonymous caller is.
Now that viewers are aware of it, Theo, the strange teacher who has become slightly fixated on Stacey, is also her customer.
Stacey says she will do what she wants, and they end up fighting.
Will Stacey be clean about how she really feels and try again with Martin, or will their opposing viewpoints be enough to keep them apart permanently?
