As Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) learns that Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) has committed the ultimate betrayal in EastEnders, he is about to be utterly shattered.
We weren’t shocked to learn that Sharon intended to keep her role in Lisa Fowler’s (Lucy Benjamin) exit from Keanu hidden from him because Keanu has shown that he is willing to go to great measures to keep daughter Peggy in his life.
Lisa came back to the Square to demand money from Keanu in exchange for letting him see his daughter Peggy.
Her falsehoods quickly became exposed, and before long, she was attempting to steal Peggy and flee.
Sharon worked behind Keanu’s back to assist Lisa in leaving the country with his daughter when Keanu sought legal guidance to obtain custody of Peggy.
Sharon is left struggling with the guilt of siding with Lisa as Keanu desperately attempts to find a way to win Peggy back.
Sharon is unsure of whether or not to confess when Martin Fowler (James Bye), who also assisted Lisa in fleeing, warns her that Keanu is ready to fight back in court.
When Keanu finds that he will have to go through the Portuguese courts to fight without Peggy being there, a procedure that may take years, he is left broken.
When Keanu asks his mother Karen (Lorraine Stanley) for counsel, she gives him the notion that Lisa must have had assistance.
Furious, Keanu assumes Martin was responsible and throws him out of the house for his treachery.
The entire reality is eventually made clear, though, when Keanu listens in on Lisa’s message left on Sharon’s phone.
What will Keanu do as the pieces start to fit together?
