
The couple from EastEnders Patsy Kensit and Patric Cassidy have revealed that their engagement is over.
The actress’ engagement to her property tycoon spouse was made public in February of this year following a dramatic beachside proposal on one knee.
The setting was exquisite, to say the least, with the sun setting over the horizon and a rose-shaped heart in the sand.
Today, it has been made official that the couple’s romance is over.
‘I can confirm they have split, and I would like that she is granted her privacy about the matter,’ a spokeswoman for Patsy, 55, said. At the moment, she is really busy at work.
Patsy and Patrick still have “a lot of love” for one another, the insider continued.
The insider told The Sun on Sunday that “the whirlwind romance has come to a halt and the couple have decided to go their separate ways.”
They are very in love with one another, but she recognised that they couldn’t make their relationship work in the long run and decided it would be best to end it.
Patsy is putting all of her energy into her profession because she currently has a tonne of fascinating job options.
When the ex-couple became engaged, Patsy showed her enormous diamond engagement ring to her social media fans, saying, “I said Yes. ❤️❤️❤️❤️.’

Lennon, her 23-year-old child with ex-husband and Oasis guitarist Liam Gallagher, left a comment on the picture at the time reading, “Love you mum x.”
Patsy previously appeared in Emmerdale from 2004 to 2006 as series regular Sadie King in addition to playing Emma Harding in EastEnders.
She additionally made appearances in Agatha Raisin, Holby City, and Casualty.
Patsy has been married four times, first to Simple Minds singer Jim Kerr from 1992 to 1996 and then to keyboardist Dan Donovan from 1988 to 1991.
