Molly Conlin played Dotty Cotton when she first appeared on EastEnders back in 2008.
It’s not surprising that the original actress has changed and matured significantly after more than ten years.
We first saw Dotty when she was a small child with plaits in her hair and a talent for talking her way out of trouble during her brief appearance on the show.
The plaits are no longer on an adult Molly, who has preserved her raven black hair. On her Instagram, she posts pictures of herself taking selfies while having fun with her friends, relaxing at home, and on sunny vacations. She also frequently sports glamorous makeup and hair extensions.
Following her role in EastEnders, Molly went on to act in comedy series Blandings and CBBC’s Horrible Histories.
But based on the majority of her Instagram photos, it appears like one of her key priorities right now is exploring the world and creating unforgettable moments.

To sum up, Dotty loved her Grandma Dot (June Brown), but when she was first introduced, her dad, Nasty Nick, took her to Walford because he wanted to kill his mother so he could inherit all of her wealth.
Dotty left in 2010, and Milly Zero took over the post nine years later.

After thereafter, Milly participated in plotlines in which Dotty had an affair with Keegan Baker (Zack Morris) and collaborated with her Uncle Tom (Brian Conley), who pretended to be Sonia’s (Natalie Cassidy) long-lost father in order to steal her money.
Shortly after Dot’s funeral, Dotty left once more. Dotty first wanted to inherit Dot’s house, but when she found out Sonia had been given it, she tried to exact revenge.
Then, after gathering her luggage, she got into a taxi and yelled, “To hell with Walford!” as she got out.
