Unaware Suni (Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana) gives Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) the assignment of getting in touch with Amit, his biological father, in Emmerdale the following week.
As fans are aware, the long-serving staple learned this week from his father Rishi (Bhasker Patel) that his uncle Amit is actually his biological father. This information sparked a major confrontation between the two.
However, regrettably, Rishi passed away in later scenes, preventing Jai from reconciling with him and expressing his love for him.
We haven’t moved past it yet.
The fallout of the tragedy will continue the following week, beginning with Jai and Laurel informing the kids of Rishi’s passing. Archie Breckle (Kai Assi), in particular, is heartbroken, and Jai snaps at him as he struggles to comprehend the loss of his father.
While Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) reiterates that what happened to Rishi is clearly not his fault, Suni can’t help but feel bad for leaving Holdgate the night of the wedding.
Jai decides to keep the truth of his paternity a secret from the newcomer while he is still digesting the revelation that Suni is actually his brother and not his cousin, but things quickly get difficult.
Unaware of the great secret, Suni begs Jai to call Amit to set up the funeral, but Jai eventually feels anxious and lashes out at his secret brother.
When will Suni begin to discover the truth?
What will he think if Jai is his biological brother in that case? They are really close, but will this strengthen their bond? Or spread them apart more?
