In an effort to help Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) in her hunt for her mother in EastEnders, Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) makes the decision to reveal a huge truth from his past.
In 2015, Bobby’s role in Lucy Beale’s slaying was made public. The ‘Who killed Lucy Beale?’ plot line enthralled the country, with names like Max Branning (Jake Wood), Peter Beale (at the time played by Ben Hardy), and Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) all being mentioned as potential candidates.
In a special flashback episode, Bobby’s placement in a young offenders facility and subsequent return in 2019 were shown to be lies.
Bobby put a lot of effort into turning his life around after committing his crime, and it has been successful. He works at the chippy, lives with Rocky (Brian Conley) and Kathy (Gillian Taylforth), is great friends with Freddie (Bobby Brazier), and soon decides to give Anna some guidance as she looks for information about her missing mother.
We are aware that Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) is actually Rose Knight, the mother of Anna and Gina (Francesca Henry). She just learned that she no longer had to remain underground as Rose and could return to England if she so desired while she is currently residing in France with Ian (Adam Woodyatt) and Peter (currently played by Thomas Law).
Cindy began dating George (Colin Salmon) while residing as Rose. After that, she vanished from the Knights’ family, leaving them with a lot of unresolved concerns.
Coming up, Anna chooses to go through with her plan to hunt for her mother and meets with a private investigator to discuss information about Rose being missing after having a heard to heard with Bobby and Freddie.
Bobby tells Anna the truth about Lucy’s death during their conversation, but he is shocked to discover that she already knows about his role.
Could it have been as simple as looking up Bobby online?
Or did Anna already know something about the Beales?
