Since as long as we can remember, Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker) has been the slick-talking love machine of Albert Square, but in upcoming EastEnders scenes, things might not go as smoothly as he would like.
After getting back into the routine of creating videos for her Kimfluencer channel, Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) quickly decides to enlist Patrick for her most recent video.
He has been known to give love counsel occasionally while sipping rum in the Queen Vic, which is his line of work.
He grudgingly starts to give Kim his counsel in the hopes of making her happy, but soon he is shocked to hear Yolande (Angela Wynter), a past flame, enter.
She claims that her present boyfriend Anton has kicked her out and that she wants to be with Patrick before soon revealing that he has done so.
Recently, Patrick left to visit Yolande in an effort to win her back after scoring a win at the racecourse.
Yolande arrives at his door, but he starts to feel uneasy and questions whether letting her remain would be a smart idea.
Patrick feels conflicted when Yolande rushes away after being wounded by his indecision.
In contrast to Denise Fox (Diane Parish), who makes it her goal to persuade Yolande to stay, Kim is immediately perplexed and desperate to understand why Patrick isn’t striving to win his real love back.
Denise realises that Patrick might be running out of time when Yolande confides in her.
Before she decides to go permanently, she implores him to speak with Yolande and let her know how much he truly cares for her.
As he struggles with whether to express his actual feelings or allow her to return to a life with Anton in Birmingham, Patrick’s heart is on the line.
