After leaving the ITV soap in 2015, Georgia May Foote has embarked on a new career as a nail technician.

After qualifying in 2021, Katy Armstrong has launched her own business, GMF Nails, in Manchester.

In addition to her new endeavour, she continues to perform, as she stated on her business Instagram profile, which has over 5,000 followers.

‘As you may know, acting is and always will be my main job,’ she tweeted with a photo of herself at her new salon.

‘However, nails provide me with the extra head space and security that most performers want! I am grateful to you all for your support every time I had to leave to film something!’

Georgia has shown some of her recent work on her company website, as well as promoted additional services she provides, such as one-on-one instructional sessions for trained nail techs.

‘I will now be providing one-on-one courses with myself!’ She was promoted.

‘These sessions are for trained nail technicians who want to improve and perfect their abilities.

‘Each session will be completely personalised to each individual and their desired areas of concentration.’

She then went on to clarify what is included in the class fee and urged any interested clients to reserve a spot.

Georgia’s new nail business isn’t the only life shift she’s gone through in recent months; she just married fiancé Kris Evans two years after they became engaged.

Friends and family attended the celebration, which was held in a beautiful barn.
