In Coronation Street, Max Turner (Paddy Bever) is once more divided between two women as Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) tries to sabotage his romance with Sabrina Adetiba (Luana Santos).
In an effort to rile Sabrina up, envious Lauren makes a suggestion that she and Max are dating. Sabrina can’t help but feel uneasy despite Max’s promises that he and Lauren are over their relationship.
In the meantime, enraged Lauren wrecks the salon, causing chaos. On suspicion of inflicting criminal damage, she is detained. Will that be the necessary wake-up call for her? And will this brutal deed affect their friendship?
Max is torn between his affections for the two women in his life, according to Paddy Bever.
He said, “I think he’s accepted that his heart is also with Sabrina a little bit. I view it as Sabrina is his brain and Lauren is his heart.” “I think Sabrina is a really positive influence on Max; she’s been quite instrumental in helping him grow up,” the speaker said.
He revealed to us that Max’s first love was Lauren. The more mature he becomes, the more he realizes that Sabrina may still have a particular place in his heart even if Lauren will always hold a special place in his heart as well.
I believe Max is beginning to see that just because Sabrina wasn’t his first love, that doesn’t mean he can’t feel the same way for her. You won’t ever love someone as much as you loved your first love, even if you marry that person and have children with them. But let’s hope that Max and Sabrina become a little power couple since I believe she is very excellent for him.
Max and Lauren share a unique affinity because of the tragedy they both experienced as young children, according to Paddy.

The relationship between Max and Lauren is evident, but in his opinion, it is a trauma bond. We’ve just hinted at the possibility that Lauren was subjected to abuse by that far-right gang, but it’s clear from Max’s account that he experienced both physical and psychological torture, as well as violence, which left him traumatized.
Since Sabrina hasn’t experienced any of these things, she could feel a little out of the loop. However, I believe that they have a relationship that allows them to understand one another in this way. There will always be temptation for your first love, and Lauren was, once more, his first love.
He brought up the intriguing point that Max recognizes a bit of his mother Kylie Platt (Paula Lane) in Lauren. Due to her drug-addicted mother and violent father, Kylie had a terrible upbringing and eventually became pretty wild. Max was born to her when she was just 19 years old, and she once sold him to Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) and her sister Becky (Katherine Kelly). An associate of Max’s drug dealer father stabbed Kylie to death.
According to Paddy, Max and Lauren’s bond has developed to the point that he now views Lauren as family and is fiercely protective of her. “I believe he sees a lot of his mother in her and has the dread that Lauren will experience what happened to his mother.”
We are aware that Lauren would do anything to revive her relationship with Max. Could their tight relationship—which Paddy mentioned—mean that they would ultimately reconcile despite his relationship with Sabrina?
Paddy was uncertain. Although Max is incredibly devoted, would he ever want to be with Lauren again? I’m not sure. I suppose it depends on the situation.
